Boy did we stumble upon a great deal in Stephenville today! The Piggly Wiggly there had whole pork loin on sale for $1.59/lb. We bought one and had the butcher cut it into 1/2 inch thick chops. We got 35 chops at a cost of .44 each. I was thrilled! I also picked up a very lovely 12lb. ham for $10. It felt great to be able to do a little stocking up in the meat department, since this is where most of our grocery money goes to.
I also picked up some Ken's Steakhouse Salad dressing for .99 a bottle and the Ken's brand spray on Lite Accents dressing for .39 a bottle at HEB. Not bad! I love coupons!
What are some great deals you've found recently?
SAVING is good.

Wow! That is wonderful!
Come enter the giveaway on my blog!!
We are in a one grocery store town....but I am happy to say it is HEB. That store rocks! I love the meal deals where you can buy one or two items and get all kinds of stuff free. BTW I always do well with the ken's salad dressing coupons there. Once I hit them on sale with coupon, and they ended up being a quarter.
that is a great price on pork loin. My husband had a big smoker and he will smoke 4 or 5 at time when we get them on sale for $1.99.
Then he slices them and we freeze them for future meals and serve it with barbecue sauce on buns.
So much better than fast food sandwiches.
About bargains - not too many good ones lately.
Grands last week were 50 cents for 8 count cans - I got 8
grocery specials this week are not good but we don't need much anyway
