A Taste of Fame by Linda Evans Shepherd and Eva Marie Everson is the first of the Potluck Catering Club series I have ever read. I was drawn in instantly! The characters are well written, likable, and could easily remind you of someone you know.
The Potluck Catering Club is a group of women who went from being a prayer group to a catering club. When one of the member's son's takes footage of one of their events and submits it to a reality show competition, the lives of the whole club and their families are turned upside down. Suddenly finding themselves in the limelight and competing for a huge prize, what will become of these wonderful women and their Potluck Catering Club?
Aside form the great characters and interesting plot, the book has the bonus of featuring several yummy recipes. I give this book five stars! It would be great to share with friends in a book club, over a potluck dinner of course.
