Tiaras, Teddy Bears and Teapots

Starlight Children’s Foundation of Texas is hosting “Tiaras, Teddy Bears and Teapots” holiday tea on Dec. 13 at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas. The event will feature an array of fun activities for the whole family, including a live cooking demo by Darren McGrady, The Royal Chef who served Princess Diana for four years after serving as Buckingham Palace’s senior chef for 11 years. Chef McGrady will be joined by one of Santa’s little helpers, Crysta, who is a Starlight child.

Starlight is dedicated to improving the quality of life for seriously ill children by providing entertainment, education and family activities that help them cope with the pain, fear and isolation that they experience. This is an organization that is dear to my heart, as are most that help children with serious illnesses or special needs. You can find out more about the amazing work Starlight is doing here.
