I seem to be talking a lot lately about my big "someday" dreams. Another of these is going to see Cirque Las Vegas. I've wanted to do this for years now. Visiting Las Vegas sounds fun on it's own, but seeing Cirque du Soleil would just make it magical!
The show I'm most interested in seeing at the moment is LOVE. What could be better than the Beatles and Cirque du Soleil? I love the music of the Beatles so, I'm thoroughly enjoy this show!
I watched the video on this website and I so wish I could pack up and go now! The performers are so incredibly talented! They truly amaze me! The whole production looks absolutely awe inspiring! I've never seen a big show, so this would be a real treat for me.
Plus, it's in Las Vegas, a city I've always wanted to visit. There is so much to see and do in the city that never sleeps. Ashley thinks we'll run into Grisam or Katherine while we're there, lol. Although, I know that won't happen, it would be nice to bump into someone like Criss Angel. Seeing a Criss Angel show is one of the things the kids would really love to do. As for me, I would be fine checking out all the impressive buildings in Las Vegas. Or I can see myself happily window shopping for hours on end.
I realize that Las Vegas is not exactly a great family vacation destination, but Dan and I would sure enjoy it. I think it would be a fantastic spot for say our fifteenth wedding anniversary getaway. We really have never been anywhere and Las Vegas is a trip I know we would both enjoy! A great thing about Vegas is you can almost always find cheap airfare, and that appeals to my frugal side. But, a trip like this is still far in the future for us.
Have any of you ever been to Las Vegas? Have you ever seen Cirque? I would love to hear about what you thought!

We have been to Vegas Twice...and yes, We saw "Love" I'm a huge, huge Beatles fan...and it was simply amazing. I won't say anything else to ...add or take away from your experience...but I'm definitely hoping that you get to see it..because it's awesome!! :)
By the way..both times we went to Vegas..we took the girls along. There are so many free shows at all of the hotels, and malls and such that honestly you can spend your whole vacation just doing those things. It is fun to ride the roller coaster @ NY NY though.... just such neat experiences. Criss Angel-would definitely be cool!
I got married in Vegas on 7-7-7. It was my lucky day :-)
I still feel lucky.
but I saw no Cirque when I was there, so I suppose I will have to go back :-)
A friend and I took our 12 year old boys to Vegas for a mother-son trip. We had a fantastic time and there are a lot of things for kids to do there. It's just a different trip with the kids: we took them to Love (which we all LOVED) and to the aquarium. They were in awe of the lights and the pool.
