Why is it when I think of a great movie I'd love to see, I discover Netflix doesn't have it? Today it was Last of the Dogmen. This is a fantastic movie about a Montana bounty hunter and an anthropologist that stumble upon a tribe of Indians living way back in the woods. It as if they have stepped back in time. The movie is just wonderful! So, many people have never seen or even heard of it and they are missing a real treat!
We had a dear friend named Ray who would occasionally keep our kiddos so we could have a date night. Tristen was quite small when Ray got him completely hooked on this money. Little Man was completely fascinated by these Indians living in modern day, yet like it was still "old timey times". I really was hoping to watch this with the kiddos sometime soon, but alas it is not to be.
I did a little digging and it seems the dvd is out of print. That is so aggravating! I don't want to pay huge prices to buy one on Ebay or Amazon.
So, this goes on my wish list of movies along with soooo many Magical World of Disney movies I remember airing on TV when I was a kid. I'd love to be able to share The Sunday Drive, Rock 'N' Roll Mom, and You Ruined My Life with my children. Oh and Rags to Riches! I loved that flick and think Ashley would adore it!
Are there movies from "back in the day" you would love to enjoy with your kiddos? If so, I'd love to hear what they are!
